The Shady Character is a non-hostile Earthling wearing a brown, high-collored trenchcoat and large-rimmed brown hat, with just his eyes peeping out. Approaching him, he will offer to swap one of the presents in your inventory, which will be selected at random, for another present, which will also be randomised. Both the present he is offering to take and the present he is offering to give can either be good or bad. The process of swapping presents is optional and free-of-charge. You can see which present he is offering to take from you and which present he is offering to give you to aid in your decision.
